(Hindustan Times) The Congress was back in action in Uttarakhand on Friday, two months after a wave in favour of Prime Minister Narendra Modi wave brushed aside the grand old party from the political scene in the hill state.
The ruling party won all three seats where by-polls were held. Chief Minister Harish Rawat won from Dharchula, a traditional Congress stronghold.
