Rift in NDA:PM Modi had disastrous start in office

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not the happy beginning as Shiv Sena's Anant Geete has refused to take charge of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises ministry. All other ministers have started working in their respective ministries.

According to sources, Shiva Sena was expecting at least five ministers out of which they were hopeful of three cabinets. Shiv Sena is NDA's biggest ally with 18 seats.

Shivsena is unable to digest the fact that likes of TDP and Upendra Kushwaha of RLSP have got important portfolios. Ashok Gajapathi Raju Pusapati is Aviation minister from TDP quota.

Shiv Sena supremo Uddhav Thackeray has taken a meeting with Anant Gette and SSS president Raju Shetty to discuss the future course of action.

Shiv Sena had three ministers under Vajpayee's government. Now, Shiv Sena is building pressure on Modi to get some more cabinet berths. SS is important ally of BJP in Maharashtra and BJP would not like to risk its ally on the cabinet issue as Maharashtra assembly polls are approaching fast.
