Senior BJP leader and former Finance Minister
Yashwant Sinha and 54 others were sent to judicial custody by a Hazaribagh court

Judicial Magistrate R B Pal remanded them to judicial custody for 14 days after Mr Sinha and others refused to take bail.

Mr Sinha had accepted before the media yesterday that he had "instructed" the party's women workers to bind Mr Jha using a rope.
"Yes, I asked them to tie the hands of the GM as women are the worst sufferers for not getting power. Their children's education is also suffering," Mr Sinha had said.
The Deputy SP had saved Mr Jha from the women.
