This day that year: Saqlain Mushtaq took hat-trick in 1999 World Cup

Pakistan off spinner Saqlain Mushtaq had taken a hat-trick in the super six match against Zimbabwe on 11th June in 1999 World Cup. With the help of Saeed Anwar's century, Pakistan set up a 272-run target but strong batting line-up of Zimbabwe was bundled out on just 123 runs. Pakistan later on reached the final of the tournament in which they were hammered by Australia.
