The
rift between Shiv Sena and BJP has once again come to the surface as Shiv Sena has declared Uddhav Thackeray as the Chief
Minister candidate without discussing with BJP.
Shiv Sena said "We want Uddhav Thackeray
to be the CM candidate."
"We have an understanding with BJP and
Maharashtra CM will be from Sena," It added
According to sources, BJP claims that the Chief Minister
candidate in Maharashtra will be from BJP and not from Shiv Sena.
While, MNS chief Raj Thackeray is projecting
himself as a chief minister aspirant for the forthcoming assembly elections in
Maharashtra.
Applauding Prime Minister Modi for leading the BJP-led NDA
to a remarkable triumph in 2014 Lok Sabha, Thackeray had said that it was the
"Modi effect" which encouraged him to take the electoral push in
state politics.
