What differentiates Rahul Gandhi from other leaders?

You may call him non performing leader or captain who runs away from responsibilities and can't lead his team from the front but what differentiates Rahul Gandhi from others is his simplicity and his connection and touch with people on ground.

How many leaders visit victims in a non-election season? No one. Literally no one but Mr. Rahul Gandhi. He is a passionate human first, and a politician later.

Who all went to Badayn ? How many ministers went there to see what happened on the ground ? 2 Dalit girls got raped and were hung to tree, and all what our big leaders could do was sympathy tweets, so that media could play it.

Rahul may not be a smart politician to take the entire media entourage along, but he got his heart at the right place. He went there to meet. He went there cause he care for them and not for their votes. You can see the modesty of him how he sat on floor with the family members of victim.

I agree, he is indeed a foolish politician. He couldn't get any political mileage out of this rape case. Child and Woman welfare minister Menka Gandhi who was in Pilibhit yesterday didn't bother to visit Badaun which is not far away from Pilibhit. CM Akhilesh Yadav whose cousin Dharmendra Yadav is MP from Badaun didn't take an initiative to visit or send any of his minister there. BSP supremo Mayawati who does all his politics on the name of dalits, shows no concern what so ever regarding this unfortunate incidence with two minor dalit girls.

This is not the first time when Rahul visited somewhere after the lok sabha polls. He with his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra visited Barolia village of his Amethi constituency where fire had taken place on 19th May and he assured all the possible help to victims. AAP leader Kumar Vihswar and Union HRD Minister Smriti Irani made all the fake promises before elections that they will not leave Amethi even if they lose. Both these leaders didn't even bother to issue a single statement in a sympathy of fire incident victims.

From Bhatta Parsaul village of Gautam Budh Nagar(Noida) to the night stay in dalit houses, Rahul has always proved that why he is the leader of masses and always want to connect with poor people. His record might have been miserable when it comes to the active participation in Parliament but he has always raised the voice of people from the road. BJP leaders like Subramaniam Swamy and RSS puppet  Ramdev have always made a fun of him instead of, giving some credit to Rahul. Ramdev's honeymoon remark over Congress vice president stay in dalit houses was not only a condemnable but also very unfortunate which also shows the poor mentality of RSS regarding dalits and other lower castes.

How many leaders have guts to openly criticise his government's decision like Rahul did in open press confrence by opposing an ordinance seeking to protect the convicted leaders. Rahul's way of opposing it might have been wrong but no one can doubt his intentions.

Thus, Rahul Gandhi is a nice human being with clear heart and he just don't visit  anywhere for the sake of OB Vans like the leaders of other parties. Only AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal can match Rahul Gandhi's simplicity. BJP and its supporters can label him OB van leader but don't forget that he is the same guy who spent whole night under sky in 2 degree temperature as a CM. Leave CM, name even a single panchayat member of BJP who spent whole night under sky even in summer.

Yesterday, Rahul Gandhi has visited  BJP's office in Delhi to pay tribute on the sudden demise of Gopinath Munde. This is an example for those people who keep abusing each other in the name of political revenge. Rahul ji, people may call you pappu but this step of you is very mature, Maintain this sensitivity.

2014 Lok Sabha elections review: An eye opener for paid media

Finally, I am writing this much awaited article regarding the review of lok sabha polls results. It is little late but better late than never. This article will open the eyes of election analysts as well as paid media.

Who got how many votes?
BJP got 17.69 Cr votes & 282 seats,Congress got 10.69 Cr votes & 44 seats. BJP got 20 seats with 94 lakh votes. BSP got 2.2 Cr votes, but no seat. 1.8 cr and AIADMK gets 37 seats.

These above stats suggests that AIADMK got around 10% of Congress votes but still the seat tally of both parties is almost same.BSP's 2.2 crore votes suggests that BSP's dalit vote bank is intact. Mayawati's party just didn't get the support of muslims and brahmins.

Are 10.69 cr votes so less for Congress?
Answer is straight forward no. BJP got just around 7.5 cr votes in 2009 but still they got 116 seats. While, Congress ended up at its worst ever tally of 44 seats despite getting over 10.5 cr votes in 2014. This shows that Congress vote share didn't translate into seats.

Defeat Margins of Congress

The above stats shows that Congress lost around 100 seats by less than 1 lakh votes which is not a big margin in lok sabha elections.

There is no level to rock bottom. The Congress party has touched rock bottom, and it will only go upwards from here. A lot of hard work and commitment is required to do that.

Some Factoids
I agree that there was a ‘Modi wave’ which the Congress party could not even see publically. They could not see, because they were simply out of touch with the reality. Narendra Modi seem to have got the 7th biggest mandate in the history of India
(refer Figure 1)

Figure 1 Compiled by Sheryas SP

Some misinformation is being spread that this time the electorate have totally wiped off the opposition too by its verdict. Respecting the wise judgement of the people of India, if we look back, there have been atleast 7 such instances where the opposition has been relegated to a lower digit than Congress’ present tally of 44

The Congress party still can have its leader of the opposition. (Refer:http://www.telegraphindia.com/1140517/jsp/nation/story_18352326.jsp#.U3ietfmSxPw)

Interesting Facts

- 45 Crore hits on Election Commission website on vote counting day, the highest number of hits on an Indian website on a single day

- Every third elected MP in the BJP has a criminal background. 98 or 35% of the 281 winners

- Out of 116 BJP MP's elected this time,100 are Ex-Congress MP’s

- 105 out of 464 Congress candidates secured less than 5% of the votes polled and lost their deposits

-  BJP's 31% lowest vote share of any party to win majority

Nature of the mandate

All said and done, this is the day- the Indian in me was waiting for since the last 30 years. Even if I belong strongly to the other side of spectrum, I would certainly accept that I wanted a clear one party mandate, so that this era of coalition politics gets resoundingly defeated. Regionalparties, I have always maintained are like Zamindars. They behaved as one especially in the last 5 years- guarding their piece of land in the garb of ‘Federalism’. The regional satraps pulled the strings of the Centre, displaying their double standards on issues like NCTC, GST, DTC and even foreign policy. However, this should not imply that I want any Presidential form of democratic system. I would never agree with that, and always respect the Parliamentary form of democracy, which has time and again strengthened India.

Detecting the Problem in the Congress
These issues are based on my own personal experience as a part of the Social Media initiative and also with interactions on people on the ground

1. There is a wide communication gap between the party and its cadre on ground. Ordinary Congress worker on ground is detached with its immediate leadership (say at district level) and the District level is detached with the State (PCC) level. In some cases, even the Pradesh Congress Committees have little communication between the leadership and them. This is a hard truth, which most Congressmen will accept privately, but never accept it infront of the leadership

2. The ordinary worker on the ground feels neglected. In my course of Social Media meets, I have discovered people who have given their entire youth to the cause of the party, but they are hardly recognized. I am sure there can be political reasons for their situation, but they need some recognition- mostly in the form of a post- hardly in the form of any money.

3. The party has become an election fighting machine with no real booth level presence in most states. This is contradictory in a sense. With the party, as big as the Congress, we expect booth level presence, but due to the decline of the party in several states, the party simply lacks the organisational strength to fight elections. States like Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Bihar and Tamil Nadu are prime examples.

Elections come and go, but state units are never overhauled. The party fights elections, just because it has to fight elections, just because it is ‘Congress’ and has to remain relevant as a pan national party.

4. Communication is the biggest cause of Congress’s defeat. The party was simply not able to make itself heard in the popular discourse. Whether it’s the handling of the media, or whether it’s simple communication of UPA’s achievements or its own initiatives.

5. The Youth Congress and the NSUI are now hardly political organisations. They behave like NGO’s more than political movements. Their internal elections and the burden on their members to submit monthly reports have made their political activity to just tokenism. This is a hard reality, and we must accept that. The reforms and the internal democracy in these organisations have failed to deliver results on ground.

6. I cannot talk about some prominent leaders and their statements, but I can certainly say that the party lacked a lot while presenting its viewpoints on television debates. The 35 member strong panellist team seldom used its entire strength, and the viewers were just left to see a certain section of spokespersons and panellists which were often repeated to defend any topic, even though they might not entirely know about the issue at the hand.

7. The Social Media campaign was started very late, by the time party had missed the bus on the discourse developed by the opposition. Many party leaders with considerable social media presence did not co-ordinate on social media.

8. Simple things like making new members for the party are a cumbersome task now. Also, the party does not know who their actual worker on ground was.

9. The government and the party lacked communication between themselves, not at the top level, but at the mid-level and the levels below it.

10. The party lost connect with first time voters and the youth in general. Period

Possible Solutions
Although, I consider myself a persona-non-grata (nobody) to suggest solutions to the multiple problems which the Congress party, yet I humbly take this opportunity to suggest some possible solutions. These may be improved or may be thrown in the waste paper basket, but still they must be read.

1. The party requires a long term plan of how it wants to connect with its own people on ground. They have multiple platforms- from the conventional revamping of PCC’s, DCC’s and block level organisation to using technology to connect directly to them. It is to be noted that the party has already started working on through its Social Media team, but a greater effort is required at all levels.

2. The ordinary worker at the ground needs to be engaged. Engagement is the best medicine in this situation. They have to be incentivised. They need to be rewarded and recognized for keeping the party flag high even in such times.

3. The party needs a comprehensive plan to create a booth level cadre. Both its online and offline presence can be utilised for this task. This work can also be done using technology.

4. The party’s lack lustre campaigned failed in these elections. Now that it’s in the opposition, it needs to use every possible tool at its disposal to effectively communicate to the people. Now the task is even tougher than before. Media needs to be seriously engaged with. A separate public relations cell within the communication department needs to be created whose sole purpose would be to just communicate with the media on daily basis.

5. I am hardly a person to advise on revamping IYC, NSUI, Mahila Congress, INTUC and other sister organisations. They all need to be made more proactive and political- visible on the street fighting for the party. This is the only humble suggestion, I can make.

6. Each spokesperson and a panellist on TV need a back end ‘Research Cell’. Research wing needs to be created. The Research team which was created before the campaign failed to took off.

7. Social Media initiative of the party needs to be expanded. They should be given more resources and be made active stakeholders in the communication wing. A much cohesive link has to be developed between party’s main stream media communication and its social media team.

8. Digitalization of party’s cadre and its suitable identification is needed. That work has already begun, but needs to be speeded up.

9. A whole new ‘Youth-connect’ long term initiative needs to be launched by the party. The party needs to take part on issues concerning the youth. They need to actively engage with them, sit on ‘dharnas’ with ordinary youth, show solidarity with their demands whenever required. The party needs to develop a long term to cleanse the RSS influence on them, and imbibe the Nehruvian ideals for India. New platforms need to be created and first time voters need to be influenced.

10. Lastly, party has to now be vigilant as an opposition and lose no opportunity to play its role for the people of India, otherwise it will miss the bus.

I am sure that there would be countless suggestions from various quarters and the party would take note on them, but these are just humble ones from my side.

Conclusion
As I wrote all this, I realised that I may have touched upon certain contentious issues, which the party may not want to keep in the public domain. Still, I would like to become transparent about its functioning so that people of India use it as a platform for their own causes. The party has a rich history and a long list of achievements which it can take pride on. The only question is that it needs to believe in itself and slowly and systematically bounce back.

The Indian National Congress is the only party in India which can represent the diversity and heterogeneity of this great country. The ideology of the Congress party is as strong and tall as the Himalayas, it will continue to guard India from bigotry and communalism in times to come.

BJP leader Shatrughan Sinha praises Gandhi-Nehru family's sacrifices, urges to not withdraw SPG from them

The relatives of Priyanka Gandhi had given many sacrifices in the past.

May God save Sonakshi Sinha from the outrage she must be looking at from Twitter now. Photoshop-laghu-udyog' loading

On Friday, the daughter of Congress president Sonia Gandhi wrote a letter to the SPG chief, asking for the removal of rights at airports for herself and her family.

Priyanka's letter, which came in the stir of media reports about withdrawl of her husband Robert Vadra's name from the list of VVIPs exempt from checks at the airport, said that "his inclusion on that list came about at the instance of your predecessors in the SPG/Delhi Police and not upon any request by either of us".

"It was done ostensibly to facilitate the coordination of the two separate security agencies at the airport when we travelled together," she said.

"Ever since then, it has been a source of constant embarrassment for my husband who has asked me on numerous occasions to have it removed as, in any case, he goes through the full security check and procedure from the normal channel every time he is travelling on his own," Priyanka said.

She said she would "appreciate if you could put this into practice as soon as the government order cancelling my husband's exemption comes into force".

Rahul Gandhi visits victim girls family's house in Badaun

Congress Vice President and MP Rahul Gandhi has visited Badaun in Uttar Pradesh to meet the family members of the two girls who were gang-raped.

The unpleasant incident has evoked an anger and two constables were arrested on Friday evening. The Uttar Pradesh government has promised to establish a fast track court to punish the culprits.

The action was taken three days after the girls were gang-raped and their bodies were found hanging from a tree.

In Delhi, Home Minister Rajnath Singh was briefed by officials on this unfortunate incident.

The two girls, who were cousins and aged 14 and 15, went missing from their residence on the night of May 27 and their bodies were found hanging from a tree the next morning.

The incident had led to the protests in the region with villagers alleging polices lack of concern, subsequent which an FIR was registered against seven persons.

The post mortem report of the two teen aged girls revealed they were raped before being murdered brutally .

Dictatorship is back under Modi Sarkar: DU suspends five officials for leaking Smriti Irani's documents

(Rajan Alexander in http://exitopinionpollsindia.blogspot.in/2014/05/more-repression-by-modi-sarkar-du.html)
The BJP government appear squandering the massive goodwill and support they had received in quick time. The act of repression by suspending Delhi University officials on the issue of Smriti Irani qualification controversy is a step in this direction. Rather than let sleeping dogs lie, over-emotional reactions will only prove counter-productive. Narendra Modi started with making all the right noises by listing out 10 governance objective - none of them controversial and all of them finding universal consensus in agreement. He should reign in his over-zealous party people who is threatens to upset all he set out to do which is a pity...

e daily had written that Irani had taken admission in DU's School of Open Learning last year, but had not appeared for her examination

(CNNIBN) The Delhi University (DU) on Friday suspended five officials for allegedly leaking documents related to educational qualifications of union Human Resources Development Minister Smriti Irani, officials said.
"Five of the non-teaching staff of the school of open learning have been suspended for accessing the confidential file and then leaking it," Malay Neerav, DU joint dean of students's welfare and media coordinator, told reporters. "These are officials below section officer level," he said.
DU took the action after a Hindi daily published the leaked documents. The daily had written that Irani had taken admission in DU's School of Open Learning last year, but had not appeared for her examination.

Irani is in the center of a controversy due to her educational qualifications that has led to a full-blown war of words between the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party. The Congress had alleged that Irani had misrepresented facts in her election affidavits.

The Congress leaders have said that Irani in her affidavit -- when she was contesting the 2004 Lok Sabha election -- mentioned her qualification as bachelor of arts (BA) which she passed in 1996 from Delhi University's school of correspondence.

But in her affidavit for this year's Lok Sabha election, the actor-turned-politician mentioned her educational qualification as
"Bachelor of Commerce Part I, School of Open Learning (Correspondence), University of Delhi - 1994."
The Congress has protested against an
"undergraduate"
being appointed the HRD minister. The BJP countered it with questions about Congress chief Sonia Gandhi's academic background.

Irani has meanwhile said that "extraneous circumstances" were created by the opposition to divert her and requested the people to judge her on the basis of her work.

Acche din aa gaye part VII: Modi-led NDA to deregulate diesel prices

People expecting good days in the hope of downfall in inflation should prepare themselves to get huge blow. According to sources, Narendra Modi-led newly formed government is in the mood of deregulating the diesel prices as well like petrol. It has been believed that diesel prices will be deregulated entirely within 4 months.

Notably,. Manmohan-led UPA government had also deregulated the petrol prices but then BJP accused Congress of playing into the hands of "tail mafiya". As a result, Petrol is costing 75 Rs/litre now. Then also, there was talks of deregulating diesel too.

Farmers use the diesel in large quantity, loading of goods from truck and railway also have the use of diesel in good quantity. It is clear that with the increase in diesel price, cost of transportation and inflation will also rise. Thus, UPA didn't take any risk by deregulating diesel.

Now, Central Government has decided that they will deregulate the diesel price for reducing the government expenditure. According to news agency Reuters sources, the process of deregulating the diesel price will be completed in next four months.

Operation Gopinath Munde: Your Rural Minister also lies in his affidavit

After Idhar Udhar's sensational revelation on Smriti Irani's lie in her affidavit(http://idharudhar24x7.blogspot.in/2014/05/operation-smriti-irani-your-new-hrd.html), we are going to expose the lie of Union Rural Minister Gopinath Munde whose affidavit has also wrong information. Munde has mentioned that he has completed graduation in 1974 but could you believe that college from where Munde finished the graduation was not even in existence in 1974. It seems as if the whole cabinet of Modi is sitting on lie.

Sheer Hypocrisy:BJP accused Rao of corruption, Modi makes him minister

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appointed Rao Indrajeet Singh a defence state minister but his own party had demanded the investigation against Indrajeet by accusing him of corruption. Rao was earlier in Congress and was Union Minister during 2006 to 2009. In 2014, he left the Congress and was re elected from Gurgaon constituency by contesting on BJP ticket

Several questions have been asked on twitter that the person who was corrupt in Congress, how he became clean by joining BJP. BJP's MP Kirit Somaiya had demanded the action against Indrajeet.

The demand of action was in Kalptaru Builders Defence Land scam. Somaiya had accused Rao that he as a defence state minister asked his personal secretary to force army officers to allot army's land to Kalptaru builders.

Actually, this is not the first incidence when BJP welcomed leaders after Kirit accused them of corruption. In 2012 also, BJP welcomed BSP leader Kushwaha who later on went to jail in corruption charges.

Constitutional expert Subhash Kashyap takes on removal of Article 370 by pointwise rebuttal

Article 370 concepts and fact clarified by Constitutional Expert Subash‬ Kashayap in an interview on Rajyasabha TV.

•For the record:
1. J&K residents have a dual citizenship and their own national flag. -‪#‎FALSE‬
-The government of J&K does have a flag, but NOT a national flag. As far as citizenship is concerned, the state of Jammu & Kashmir does provide for a status of "Permanent Resident", but not for a separate citizenship. This status is, in fact,
granted by many other states and UTs (such as Lakshadweep, Andaman & Nicobar, etc.), and is
in no way connected to Article 370.
2. 6-year tenure for state governments - ‪#‎True‬
-But has no real significance. Also has no relation to Article 370.
3. Disrespecting Indian national flag and other national symbols is not a crime in J&K. - #FALSE
-Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act,1971 is valid everywhere in India, INCLUDING J&K.
4. Indian Supreme Court has no jurisdiction in J&K. #FALSE
The Supreme Court of India has had jurisdiction in the state of J&K since 1954 (vide Constitution (Application to Jammu and Kashmir) Order, 1954).
5. Indian Parliament can make laws in a very limited domain. Majority of powers rest with the J&K parliament. -#FALSE
-Till 1963, the Indian Parliament could legislate only on subjects contained in the Union List, and had
no jurisdiction in case of subjects covered by the Concurrent List under the 7th Schedule of the
Constitution. Since then, the Union has been progressively acquiring competence to legislate on more and more subjects. On July 30, 1986, the President made an order under Article 370, extending to Kashmir Article 249 of the Constitution
in order to empower Parliament to legislate even on a matter in the State List on the strength of a
Rajya Sabha resolution. The Union Legislature now has the power to legislate not just on subjects contained in the Union List, but also on all of the subjects in the Concurrent List, and the State
List. In this respect, the J&K is, in fact, worse off than any other state today.

6. A J&K citizen loses his/ her citizenship on marrying outside the state. - #FALSE
-First off, there is no such thing as a citizen of the state of J&K. The only status provided by law is that of a Permanent Resident. Further, as per a historic order brought out in 2002 by the J&K High Court, no person (woman) shall lose her right
to Permanent Residence in J&K by marrying someone from outside the state.

7. A Pakistani citizen can gain J&K citizenship by marrying a J&K citizen. - #FALSE
-First off, there is no such thing as a citizen of the state of J&K. The only status provided by law is that of a Permanent Resident. Further, at
present, there is no provision in law to gain the Permanent Residence status in J&K, irrespective of whether a person has Indian or Pakistani (or any other) citizenship.

8. RTE, RTI, CAG, annd majority of Indian laws are not valid in J&K. - #FALSE
-While RTE is not valid in J&K, RTI is applicable in J&K as well. The jurisdiction of CAG also extends to the state. In fact, almost all Central
legislations, except some Constitutional Amendments, are
applicable to J&K.

9. Kashmir forces sharia law on its citizens. - #FALSE!
-That's one I didn't see coming. I can't see how someone would be idiotic enough to make that
claim. In fact, the implementation of Sharia law in Kashmir is one of the stated objectives of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). I haven't
heard of them succeeding yet. Have you ?

10.Kashmir doesn't have Panchayat system. - #FALSE
-They do. The Jammu & Kashmir Panchayati Raj Act was passed in 1989. More importantly, there is
now a plan to extend the 73rd Amendment of the Constitution to J&K.
11.Hindus & Sikhs are a minority but they don't get a 16% reservation. -‪#‎Yes‬, and that's a crime. I don't have anthing more to those who keep clamoring for reservations. Reservation on
communal- or caste-based lines is outdated, and should have been abolished long ago.

12.Because of Art. 370, no outsider (Indian) can buy land in J&K. - This is neither due to Art. 370, nor, as I mentioned in the case of another point above, limited to just J&K.
So This is the real facts of Art.370 Trust or Not as ur wish but this is the fact for more read constitution if J&K and be mature as i m constitutional expert i can challenge anyone in any court if my facts are wrong.

Takover of Network18 and TV18: A drama unfolds as Mukesh Ambani takes charge

Yep. Arvind Kejriwal apparently was on the mark. Narendra Modi is most probably only a front, a stooge of the the real power centre in the country. The way Reliance has assumed supra-monopoly status, particularly within the media space, make no mistake it is Mukesh Ambani who call the shots under the garb of Modi Sarkar....

(TelevisionPost.com) For founder-promoter Raghav Bahl, it is all over. In an unprecedented swirl of events, Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) has taken charge of a media and entertainment empire that boasts of crown jewels like CNBC TV18, CNN-IBN and Colors.

In the process, there has been drama never witnessed before in Indian corporate history. The last couple of days has seen the exit of Network18 group CEO B Saikumar, COO Ajay Chacko and CFO RDS Bawa. More are to follow and the industry is expecting the announcement of Bahl’s exit any time now. Though the writing was on the wall ever since Bahl inked a deal with Ambani in 2012, nobody expected the end would come so early and in such an overwhelming way. India’s richest billionaire will have his stamp all over.

In 2012, nobody noticed a clause that would have allowed RIL to step in any time with full direct control. Even if they had, they hadn’t swallowed it in. The industry had given it a few more years, with Ambani indirectly calling the shots. One could have sniffed the change on Wednesday when Saikumar announced his resignation. Later in the evening, Chacko said he was quitting. Surprising as the day before, he had called TelevisionPost.com’s editor-in-chief to discuss about the company’s financial results (which was announced the same day).

No matter how prepared we all were, the big shocker came the next day. RIL said its
“board had approved funding of Rs 4,000 crore (Rs 40 billion) to Independent Media Trust (IMT), of which RIL is the sole beneficiary,”
for taking over Network18. IMT would use the funds to acquire control over Network18 and TV 18, resulting in ownership of about 78 per cent in Network18 and 9 per cent in TV18, and to acquire shares tendered in the open offer. Why get surprised? If you are Mukesh Ambani, you do not delay. RIL was just exercising its option to convert the Zero Coupon Optionally Convertible Debentures (ZOCDs) into equity shares of the target company, in this case Network18, anytime within 10 years.

Modi resigns from Vadodara seat, Mulayam retains Azamgarh

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has resigned from Vadodara Lok Sabha seat, that means he has preferred  Varanasi over his home state Gujarat's Vadodara seat,  where the BJP has registered a historical and landslide victory bagging whopping 71 of the 80 seats in the recently concluded lok sabha polls. BJP's ally Apna Dal has also won both seats they contested.

Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav has also submitted a resignation from Mainpuri Lok Sabha seat as he retained Azamgarh.
As per the rules, MP who has been elected from two Lok Sabha seats has to left one of the seats within 14 days of the vote counting.

With Lok Sabha results out on May 16, today was the last day of leaving the constituency.

According to sources, Mulayam Singh's grandson may contest from SP's strong bastion Mainpuri. While, it will be interesting to see that who will contest from Vadodara which Modi had to left after beating Congress leader Madhusudhan Mistry by around 5.70 lakh votes.

Idhar Udhar Exclusive: Modi could have found better HRD minister than Irani, don't expect much on black money from him, says Ramdev's aide

In an exclusive interview with Idhar Udhar, Senio Journalist, political analyst and Ramdev's aide Ved Pratap Vedic has slammed Narendra Modi's decision of making non-graduate Smriti Irani a Human and Resource
Development minister by saying that Modi could have found better HRD minister than Smriti Irani. However, he also questioned the qualification of Gandhi-Nehru family and said that for being a Civil Aviation Minister, you don't need to be a pilot.

"Media have many other important news and they should not have made this Smriti Irani's educational qualification issue a top headline. However, I feel that Modi could have found better HRD minister than her," Vedic said.

"Congress should first answer the qualification of Nehru-Gandhi family. There should be no educational qualification column in affidavit. Though, you don't need to be a pilot and gold medalist for being a Civil Aviation and Sports Minister," he added.

Talking about Ramdev's absence from Modi's oath taking ceremony, he said " Even I myself and Mohan Bhagwat Ji also didn't attend oath taking ceremony,"

However, he refused to comment on Subramaniam Swamy's tweet on his exclusion from cabinet.

On being asked about black money which Home Minister and BJP president Rajnath Singh promised to bring  back within six months, he said, "Don't expect much about black money from any leader,"
