10 big challenges awaits PM Modi in the centre

Bigger mandate brings you larger expectations. Narendra Modi who will take the oath as 14th Prime Minister of India has lot of challenges awaiting him.

1. Allocation of cabinets:- This is going to be tough task for Modi. UP has 73 BJP MPs, Maharashtra sent 42 NDA MPs. The saffron party has swept all its ruling states which has around 90 MPs. Akali Dal is is also demanding 2 cabinet ministers and Shivsena want 5 cabinet ministers as 18 MPs of Shivsena got elected. Yedyurappa return has done wonders for party in Karnataka but if Modi will make both Yeddy and Sriramullu a cabinet minister then it will dent his corruption free image badly.
BJP will also have to ensure the proper representation from North East which has sent 8 MPs of the party. TDP also wants 5 cabinet ministers as they have won 15+ seats in Andhra Pradesh. The party would also like to make one minister from West Bengal if they want to improve its performance in assembly polls.

2. Ram Manir issue:- Party has full majority so RSS can force BJP for Ram Mandir construction in Ayodha. However, BJP can escape this controversy by saying that matter is pending in court.

3. Removal of Section 370:- With full majority in the centre, party can't make any excuse regarding section 370 in Jammu & Kashmir.

4. Uniform Civil Code:- This will be another ample task for BJP to ensure the smooth and peaceful applicability of Uniform Civil Code.

5. Important bills:- BJP has just 50 odd MPs in Rajya Sabha and united opposition can make Modi's life very difficult in Rajya Sabha. He has to ensure good floor management for passing the important bills in the upper house.

6. Social Welfare Schemes:- Can Modi take the big risk by removing the social welfare schemes like MNREGA, Food security scheme, Mid day scheme, free medicine scheme. All the economists believes that Indian economy can't afford the extra burden of 3 lakh crore due to these vote fetching social welfare schemes.

7. Inflation:- Congress worst ever performance has came due to the inflation which is touching the sky. The high prices of daily necessities is a biggest challenge in front of NDA government.

8. Weak Rupee:- The depriciation in Rupee is increasing the price of all those things which we import from outside. If Modi-led NDA government able to bring $ down to 50 Rs then there can be drastic fall in Petrol and Diesel prices.

9. Corruption:- Modi has poor track record regarding corruption in Gujarat. His cabinet has convicted ministers like Bokhariya and Solanki. Now, there is every possibility of inclusion of Yeddy and Sriramullu in cabinet which will hit the chances of running corruption free governance. The nation will also demand the strict action against the corrupt ministers and leaders of UPA government. BJP is already in firing line for not registering any FIR against Robert Vadra in Rajasthan.

10. High Subsidy:- Government gives heavy subsidy on LPG, Diesel and Kerosine but subsidy is not the long term solution for any economy. Fall in 1% GDP takes 1 cr jobs away but it is highly unlikely that Modi would like to take any gamble by slashing the subsidy from LPG and Kerosine but he has to take some bold steps for bringing down the fiscal deficit.
