Exit Poll: Congress sweeping North East, Modi wave is nowhere in NE

Modi's huge rallies in Assam seems to have no impact on ground as Congress is sweeping Assam and 7 other North Indian states by bagging 17 seats out of 25. Even, CSDS opinion poll shown 25% vote share extra in favor of Congress, in comparison of BJP whose vote share was predicted just 19% in Assam. Tarun Gogoi's personal image and divided opposition is scripting Congress landslide victory in Assam. While, in other 6 North Indian states, Congress is sweeping Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalya, Manipur and Mizoram. While, left is retaining its strong bastion of Tripura. On the other hand, it's NPF and SDF all the way in Nagaland and Sikkim respectively.
